NORWAY -- Michigan State Police were serving a search warrant of a Norway home on Tuesday when they noticed a strong odor of marijuana in the residence.

That strong aroma was actually coming from 96 marijuana plants.  The plants, along with growing materials, were seized.

"I was totally shocked," said building owner Les Negro.  "I saw the cop cars here, and I was driving from work, so I came back to investigate what's going on.  I saw all the pot plants in the back of Norway's city pickup truck."

The name of the man who was renting the building has been withheld pending an arraignment. He has since been served an eviction notice by the building owner.
