MARQUETTE -- Fans of Northern Michigan University hockey have a chance to see a great game and help out the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter on Saturday.

UPAWS volunteers will be at the doors of the Berry Events Center looking for donations to complete their wish list.

Some of the items on the wish list include canned pet foods, toys, and trash bags, but that isn't all they are asking for.

"We're going to be at the Berry Events Center on Saturday for the game against LSSU, and we'll be at all the main entrances with our red wish list box, and we'll be accepting donations like we mentioned and also cash donations."

For the complete list of items UPAWS is requesting, check out their website.
