MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Regional History Center is hosting a seminar on well-known buildings from the past that no longer exist.
The program is called Gone, But Not Forgotten, and it's highlighting some of Marquette's lost buildings. Twenty-six different buildings will be featured, including the old Marquette Hotel and old schools and churches.
"We'll tell them what used to be there," said Jim Koski of the Marquette Regional History Center. "Like many growing downtowns, Marquette has been evolving over the years, and a lot of places where you now see parking lots or fields, you see buildings that were, in some cases, quite important to the community."
The presentation is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Marquette Regional History Center, and they're asking for a five dollar donation from each visitor.
