The Forsyth Township Fire Department invites all to come to Nordeen Park in Gwinn on Sunday for more ice bowling from noon until 4 p.m.

GWINN -- Forsyth Township firefighters held a family friendly fundraiser in Gwinn on Saturday.

This is the second annual ice bowling fundraiser for the department. Players register at $10 for adults or $5 for kids under 18. A cash prize will be awarded to a single player with the most points over the weekend. This year's fundraiser is already looking to be even more successful than last year.

"Word's been around; Facebook has really been a big help for getting the word around. People that came around last year spread the word (that) they enjoyed themselves. I've seen a lot of new faces already this year," said Greg Kedola, a firefighter.
