MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Students at Cherry Creek Elementary in Marquette are joining the nationwide Fuel Up To Play 60 program.

With the ultimate goal being to combat childhood obesity, faculty members at Cherry Creek have let the students come up with ways to make their school a healthier place.

As part of the program, the students enjoyed smoothies and learned the health benefits of staying active.  The students aren't stopping there. however. They have also come up with the idea of taking brain breaks during class, a time set aside for the kids to get up and stretch and play.
