MARQUETTE -- The Peter White Public Library is bringing some star power to their mid-winter story telling festival.
Two-time Grammy winning artist and story teller, Bill Harley, is known for his popular children's music, and this Friday he will be performing his family friendly songs and skits at the Forest Roberts Theater at Northern Michigan University.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are available at the library. Harley will also be at the library on Saturday to lead writing workshops and a meet-and-greet.
"I think families get the connection of being at a musical event and hearing music that they both enjoy and get into and understand and have a good time," said Development Coordinator Heather Steltenpohl.
The library is also raffling off a copy of Harley's CD.
