NEGAUNEE -- Negaunee High School held their annual Winter Carnival for students and staff.
The carnival was a sight to see students marching down the hallways, playing instruments and singing.
Students participated in several activities like playing board games and a teachers versus students softball game. To top it off, classes battled it out in tug of war contests.
Senior Class President Benjamin Rebertus feels it gives students a break to interact with one another.
"It's great in the middle of winter to have a few weeks after the exams are over, just to be able to get out and have a good time and, like, loosen up a little bit," said Rebertus. "Just lighten the mood around school."
All proceeds from Thursday's concessions go to help a staff member who lost their house in a fire.
