MARQUETTE -- Children of all ages came together for story hour coupled with arts.
The program, formerly known as After-School Art Adventures, has been moved to every other Saturday at the Peter White Public Library. From 11 a.m until noon, children enjoyed a story about early cave paintings in France.
The little ones then got creative in their own cave.
"It's important to the reading, to art making activities; I think that it's important that kids have opportunities to be creative, and I think that they are able to do that today," said Jenny Frein, a library assistant.
The next story hour is scheduled for Feb.18 with a sled dog theme.
