ESCANABA -- Paul Mitchell the School in Escanaba will be cutting hair on Saturday at half the price in order to help Paul Mitchell affiliated charities.

Some of those charities include Food for Africa and the Children's Miracle Network.  From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, students in training will cut hair for $5.

There are already over 30 scheduled guests for the day, but there is still availability and walk-ins will be accepted.

"You could potentially change someone's life," said Learning Leader Jessi Colen.  "And we're looking to make their day so that's part of what we believe in.  And fundraising is just a way for us to give back to that.  Give back to so many people who don't have a voice."

The school will be fundraising for the next three months.  Their ultimate goal is to raise $15,000 through various fundraisers like the Cut-A-Thon.
