MARQUETTE -- Pianists in Marquette brought music to the ears of those who attended a benefit recital. The Lake Superior Piano Workshop group held its annual concert Sunday. Several pianists performed tunes from Chopin and Schubert.

The concert is usually performed at the Peter White Public Library each year, but this time around, they decided to donate their proceeds to the Federated Women's Clubhouse where they rehearse each week.

"The pianos here need to be kept up and that's expensive, and the clubhouse itself needs to be kept up, and we decided we would like to donate our proceeds from this concert for that," said Nancy Railey, a piano teacher.

The piano workshop is one of the clubhouse's many organizations.
