Two-vehicle crash sends one to hospital

Officers responded to the crash around 8:30 Saturday morning on US 41 just West of Northwoods Road in Marquette Township

MARQUETTE TWP. -- Speed and road conditions were a factor in another traffic crash that sent one person to the hospital, police said.

Officers responded to the crash around 8:30 Saturday morning on US-41 just west of Northwoods Road in Marquette Township. A vehicle was headed west when the driver lost control and swerved across five traffic lanes into the path of a bus. There were no injuries and no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Marquette General for his injuries. He was also cited for speeding.
