MARQUETTE -- The Lake Superior Community Partnership made an appearance at the Marquette County Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday evening.

Amy Clickner, CEO of the partnership, made a presentation that outlined the work the group has done for local business in Marquette County and laid out what they hope to accomplish for the new year.

"Obviously we want to continue to focus on economic development. Regional collaboration is going to continue to be where its at, not just in economic development, but in every sector, so this needs to be an effort that we work on retaining our college graduates and, of course, legislative advocacy with term limits," said Clickner.

The board passed a motion to continue its partnership with the organization although board member Mike Quayle voiced his opposition.
