No contest in OWI causing injury case

IRON MOUNTAIN -- An Iron Mountain man has pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated causing serious injury.

The charge stems from a crash on July 3 of last year in Iron Mountain.
    
Brandon Trulock was 19 at the time of the crash.  He was driving a car that left the road and hit a tree.  His passenger was critically injured.
    
Trulock remains in the Dickinson County Jail.
    
Operating while intoxicated causing serious injury is a felony carrying a maximum of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
    
Trulock will be sentenced February 21.
