MARQUETTE -- The Marquette City Police have arrested a man for breaking into a vehicle.

At 4:30 Friday morning, officers were called to the North Marquette area for a man who was found inside a vehicle parked in a driveway. He fled on foot when confronted by the victim. Officers were eventually able to find the suspect.

He was in possession of several stolen items, including one backpack, police said. They tracked his foot steps and found that he was inside several vehicles in the North Marquette Area.

The suspect's name has not been released yet.

Anyone who may have had something stolen from their car is asked to report it to the Marquette City Police.
