Levack arraignment

IRON COUNTY -- David Anthony Levack plead not guilty Monday to homicide felony murder, home invasion, and witness intimidation.

The 44-year-old Kingsford man is accused of killing 81-year-old Joyce Johnson of Crystal Falls.

Johnson was scheduled to testify against Levack in a stolen property case last September, but she was found dead in her home that same day. An autopsy determined that Johnson died of strangulation.

Levack is also being charged as a third time habitual offender.
