GWINN -- Children from Gwinn celebrated the Christmas season with a party designed just for them.
The annual celebration was held at the VFW post in Gwinn Saturday afternoon where hundreds of children showed up for the festivities. Food, crafts, and face painting kept most of them busy until santa showed up.
He made sure he remembered every kid's Christmas wish and handed out some goodies. Various local vendors contribute to the event each year.
"It turns out well, they've been very generous with us all the time for the last several years and we love it and the kids love it also," Donald St. Aubin, chairman of the event, said.
There's still plenty to do after the party is over. Officials are already planning next year's festivities.
