New Delta County Treasurer announced

DELTA COUNTY -- The committee has selected the new Delta County Treasurer, and it is Tom Sabor, Vice President of Administrative Services at Bay College.

Sabor was one of the top four candidates.

He said he is planning on retiring from the college on December 31. He'll be sworn in on January 2, and will start looking for a Chief Deputy Clerk.

Sabor will take over for Sandra Buckland, who has held the job since she was elected in 1988.
