DICKINSON COUNTY -- Dickinson County Hospital held their 25th annual tree lighting this week. The event is run by the DCHS Hospital Foundation.  Every year they honor a Dickinson County resident at the lighting ceremony.  This year they celebrated the life and times of Evo Santoni.

He was a family man, war veteran, and an extremely generous member of the community.

"It's 25 years," said DCHS CEO John Schon.  "We celebrate the lives of our loved ones and really go back and think of all the memories and all the things they've done for us over the years, and that's our way of saying thank you to this community and a way our community can be recognized for all the things they've done for us over the years, and our loved ones are definitely a strong part of that."

The Hospital Foundation says they hope they can keep the tree lighting going for another 25 years.
