MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Slippery roads led to two crashes at about the same time, in the same place, on County Road 553 Thursday morning.

Just moments after a van slid off the road in front of Marquette Mountain, two cars collided with each other.

The three passengers of one vehicle had to be extricated and transported to Marquette General Hospital.

The extent of their injuries has not been released.  The driver of the vehicle who hit them did not sustain any injuries.

The driver of the van was not hurt and was able to drive away from the scene.
