MARQUETTE -- In the spirit of Christmas, the Peter White Public Library opened its annual Winter Wonderland walk on Sunday, and it's their biggest one yet.

The open house is compiled of more than 70 Christmas trees, all decorated by various local organizations, schools and businesses. Creative minds came together to dress-up the trees. Some include the Girls Scouts, celebrating their record anniversary, the Michigan State Police tree, a World Aids Awareness tree, and many more.

"It's kind of time to celebrate the holidays, and people just love looking at the trees because it seems like people can take very simple things and make an absolutely beautiful tree, and it's just fun to see what different people can do," Pam Christense, director of Peter White Public Library, said.

The trees will be on display until January.
