Last year's show had more than 8,000 people come through the doors, and they expect even more this year.

MARQUETTE -- It's one of the biggest craft shows in the U.P. each year, the TV 6 Christmas craft show that is, and thousands of people have already checked it out. Of course, our very own Karl Bohnak and Carl Pellonpaa are front and center as you walk in the Superior Dome in Marquette. However, there are more than 250 other vendors who set up shop.

In time for winter, blankets, hats, gloves and other items are up for sale, including various unique items that make the perfect holiday gifts. Last year's show had more than 8,000 people come through the doors, and they expect even more this year.

"Since the economy has been pretty up and down you have to make gifts affordable; something unique, something different, something that people want to spend money on and can afford it and it looks like a nice gift usually to give away," Shari Smith, a local vendor, said.

If you haven't checked out the craft show, you still have time. It's also open on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
