Crash injures one near Koski Corner

HUMBOLDT TOWNSHIP -- A Checker Cab vehicle went off the road and hit a ditch Tuesday while travelling along US-41.  The incident happened around 1 p.m. near Koski Corner.

The driver, 33-year-old Mark Castor, experienced a mechanical problem with the vehicle while travelling down the road.  Castor complained of back pain and was taken to Bell Memorial Hospital.

The Marquette County Sheriff's Department, along with the Champion Township Fire Department, were on the scene.
