IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Art Works Gallery in Iron Mountain is in a new location, and they received some help from the community to do it.

Karen Larson is the owner of the new building, which is adjacent to her brand new pottery studio. Her studio and gallery won the $4,000 facade grant from the city of Iron Mountain this year.

"I actually would like to thank the Downtown Development Association," said Larson.  "With their help, I have received a grant to help out with deferring the cost of the front, the facade of the building."

The gallery features wood carvings, oil paints, paintings and photography. Larson also plans on offering pottery classes from her studio.
