DELTA CO. -- For more than a decade, the Delta County Jaycees have made sure struggling families aren't without a Thanksgiving meal.
This year, 315 families in need will receive boxed meals from the Jaycees: turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie included. On Sunday, they gathered at a Delta County Airport hanger to pack the meals.
"It's nice to see all the hard work that we've done this year, all the fundraising that we've done. It's good to see it all come together in such a big way and be able to give back to so many people," said Jessica Erickson of Jaycees.
Once the bags were backed, they were hand delivered to recipients across Delta County.
