NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- UpperMichigansSource.com users may have noticed a change to the website Wednesday morning.  We've implemented a new commenting system on our website.

Users must now sign into their Facebook profiles to comment on all web posts or stories.

The change was made in hopes of creating better participation and more quality dialog in the comment section.

While you do need a Facebook profile to comment, it's not necessary for individuals to routinely use that Facebook profile for its social networking purpose.

"You go on, you set up your profile.  You don't ever have to have any friends on Facebook, you don't ever have to search for friends, accept them or talk to anybody.  It's basically a credentialing," said WLUC and FOX UP CEO, Rob Jamros.
