Two vehicles collided head-on.

BESSEMER -- The Gogebic County Sheriff's office is investigating a head-on collision in the City of Bessemer.

It happened at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon on US-2 near the Access Road.

Officials say a pickup truck driven by Charles Spengler crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by Kolleen Prasnick.

Both drivers, along with two passengers in Prasnick's vehicle, were taken to Grand View Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Spengler has been cited for careless driving.  Additional charges may be issued pending further investigation.
