Two incumbents move on to next round of voting

Unofficial election results from the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Tribal Council elections show two incumbents will move on to the next round of voting.

Incumbent Gary F. Loonsfoot, Sr. won 63 of the votes, and incumbent Isabelle Welsh won with 68 votes. Carole LaPointe picked up 79 of the total votes to move to the top. The eight tribal council candidates will move on to the second round of voting slated for December.
