ISHPEMING -- Singer Adam Whittington has a busy schedule ahead of him, but he will be returning to Marquette to help the youth theater, which he says helped him and his career.
Whittington will be heading from Ishpeming to Los Angeles at the end of the month to hit the studio but will return for a concert at Kaufman Auditorium, December 9. The concert will benefit the Marquette Youth Theater and will be sponsored by Frei Chevrolet and J-14 Magazine and will feature singer Brooklyn Haley.
After the concert, Whittington says he has a lot of touring planned, but always enjoys coming home to the U.P.
"It's almost like a culture shock coming from L.A. back here, but it's so nice because I love my hometown and I love my family that lives here, and it's just so great to be back here because you have this small town and everyone is so friendly, and it's great to be back here and I love it," said Whittington.
