Water main break in Escanaba

ESCANABA -- The authorities in Escanaba are reporting a water main broke early on Friday morning. The break happened around 7:15 a.m.

Crews are still assessing the situation, but city officials say the water is still drinkable.

They added that folks should refrain from doing laundry because the water may be discolored due to iron in the pipes.
