HANCOCK -- Finlandia University has a wildflower exhibit on display in the Jutila Center.

The display offers a variety of different types of flowers that are seen in Keweenaw County.  It's categorized by seasons and it also contains some of the flowers on the endangered species list.

The photos now hang permanently on the fifth floor in the hallways of the center.

"The display is called Keweenaw Wildflowers Up Close," said Finlandia's Dean of International Art and Design, Denise Vandeville.  "It is photographed and designed by Harvey Desnick, who is a local artist and photographer here in Keweenaw, and it really is a wonderful, informational exhibit."

Students are also able to use the exhibit as a learning tool during class time.

The exhibit is open to the public.
