The Red Fox Inn motel also closed
SAWYER -- Two businesses in Sawyer have closed their doors. Tailwinds Grill and Bar and the Red Fox Inn shut down Friday after eight years in business.
Tailwinds used to be the officers club when K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base was open.
The restaurant and motel not only served the community but travelers looking for a bite to eat or place to stay at Sawyer International Airport.
There's no word on why they closed. TV6 attempted to contact the owners but were unable to reach them.
