IRON MOUNTAIN -- Iron Mountain Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that happened on West C Street Friday night.
A 46-year-old Iron Mountain woman was walking east on West C St. near Forest St. at around 7 p.m., when a vehicle struck her from behind.
That vehicle fled the scene. The female was transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital to treat her injuries. The vehicle involved is being described as a late 1980s or early 1990s, maroon, four-door car.
