MARQUETTE -- Leading a gluten-free or vegan lifestyle can be a challenge, so to help ease some of the anxiety associated with it, the Marquette Food Co-op hosted a crash cooking course.
Over a dozen Marquette area residents learned three recipes that don't have any wheat or animal products, one of them being a gluten-free flat bread.
"I have a daughter who's in college who has recently been diagnosed with gluten intolerance, so when she comes home from school, I need to know how to cook for her," said Marquette resident Mary Swift.
