HANCOCK -- A suspect is in custody and waiting arraignment on drug charges in Hancock.
On Thursday, the Houghton County Prosecutor's office issued a search warrant for a residence in Hancock.
Hancock City Police executed the search on one of the tenants in the building, which was not identified. During the search, officers found a large amount of illegal substance and growing supplies and a quantity of marijuana.
The suspect was taken into custody and will be arraigned in the 97th District Court, scheduled for later Friday.
Additional warrants are pending from the prosecutor's office.
