MARQUETTE -- The free family health fair focused on health and safety including a variety of hands-on activities and information from local agencies.

One goal of the event was to make the community more familiar with the availability of local health services they may need, but don't have.

Plenty of free childcare supplies were also available.

Program planners urge parents to get outside with their kids and get active.

Organizers are also considering having flu shots available at next year's fair.
