The feeling of fall is in the air, and that means it's again time for the Fall Festival at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee Township
NEGAUNEE TWP. -- The Fall Festival at the Iron Industry Museum continues to grow each year. More than 500 people had come through hours before the festival was even over.
This year's Fall Fest featured a farmer's and artisan's market, live entertainment, craft demonstrations, concessions, and free kid's activities.
Organizers say it's a great way to get people to the Iron Industry Museum.
"A lot of the local people don't even know that this is here," says museum seasonal interpreter Nysse Wilson. "It's a free museum. It's a great opportunity to get people here and see what we've got, and then also to allow some local artists and farmers to sell their wares."
The Fall Festival was free.
All donations went directly into the museum's fund for educational programs.
