AURA TOWNSHIP -- A single vehicle crash in Baraga County Thursday morning claims the life of a Skanee man.
According to the Michigan State Police, the crash happened around 2 a.m. on Skanee Road near Sawmill Road in Aura Township.
The only person in the vehicle, 46-year-old Dale Hollon, was killed in the accident.
Early investigation indicated that speed and alcohol are contributing factors in the incident, which remains under investigation.
Assisting troopers from the L'Anse State Police Post were members of the KBIC Tribal Police, Aura Fire Department/First Responders, and Bay Ambulance.
