VIO selects members of team to test products
MARQUETTE -- You may not have ever skied down a 10,000 foot Alaskan cliff, but thanks to a new team of filmmakers and athletes working with VIO, you can get a front row seat to the action.
VIO, the Marquette-based wearable video technology company, just announced they've hand selected a team to utilize their point of view HD cameras out in the field.
The company chose to build a mixed team to get a feel for not only how the equipment holds up in extreme situations, but how it performs technically.
The 12 member team is contracted to create video on a frequent basis that can be viewed on the VIO website.
"These guys are just getting the product in their hands; they're just developing the footage," said Marketing Director Clint Slack. "They're doing a lot of testing. The next three months, we'll probably see a lot of footage coming back."
VIO's cameras are typically used by athletes, filmmakers, and even the military and are said to be built bomb-proof.
