Munising water boil advisory is lifted

MUNISING -- The water boil advisory in Munising has been lifted.

City officials say that the mains and reservoirs have been chlorinated and flushed.

Samples have come back negative for coliform.

Chlorination for the entire Munising water supply will continue for the next two weeks.

Residents may notice a slight smell or taste in the drinking water, but it is safe to drink.
