BARK RIVER -- Race organizers are expecting around 15,000 people to fill up Bark River for this weekend's Bark River Off Road Races.

The 1.8 mile course is just about complete, and a new tabletop and some jumps have been added.  Workers were also hard at work building a framework for the jumbotron.

Around 150 drivers will go 100 miles per hour or faster along the Bark River International Raceway.

"I think every time they come out here, they enjoy it," said Race Official Wayne Stenberg.  "You know, if you have never been here before, I think most people that come the first time are hooked right away, and they just keep coming back and we've had people here from probably 40 years since the event has been going."

Organizers started planning the event in spring.  Time trials will be held on Friday, and racing is on Saturday and Sunday.
