MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Bull moose hits a mini van...that's exactly what happened on Marquette County Road 550 Monday. Our cameras happened to be there to capture the aftermath.
The moose died from the impact, but fortunately, the driver of the van only sustained minor injuries.
It all happened when a woman, traveling from Big Bay, said a moose ran into the side of her vehicle when it came running out into the roadway.
The accident remains under investigation by Michigan State Police.
The moose is not the same moose that's been spotted on Presque Isle.
