MARQUETTE -- The idea of the People's Festival is to promote earth-friendly organic, holistic, recycled, renewed, and natural practices...meaning anything good for people and their planet.

Featured were holistic and herbal products, jewelers, and chiropractors just to name a few.

Organizers say it's a great way for locals to introduce themselves to holistic practices.

"It's so easy to come to this park and participate in things and check out things that maybe you wouldn't feel comfortable walking into somebody's office or finding somebody that offers a service that isn't always mainstream," says organizer Cindy Engle.

And there was something for all of your senses at the fair:  music for your ears and holistic services included massages for your well-being.
