DELTA COUNTY -- A clarity hearing on the petition to recall State Senator Tom Casperson has been set for July 28, before the Delta County Election Commission.
Petitions can't be circulated until the petition language is approved.
Twenty-five percent of the registered voters in the district would have to sign the petition within 90 days to put the recall on the November ballot.
The recall supporters are angry that Casperson has supported budget cuts and a law that gives greater power to Emergency Financial Managers.
