Mothers Offering Moms Support hosted the 2nd annual fund-raiser
MARQUETTE -- Plenty of people have their own rummage sales, but Saturday, one local group held a rummage sale to support a greater cause.
MOMS, which stands for Mothers Offering Moms Support, did just that at Father Marquette Middle School in Marquette. The rummage sale included a lot of baby and children's items like clothing and toys. There were also plenty of miscellaneous items and women's clothes there as well. And if you were hungry, the rummage sale was accompanied by a bake sale featuring many sweet treats.
The proceeds from the sale will go to support Bay Cliff Health Camp.
"Our group likes to do some service projects every year," says Marquette MOMS president Courtney Helsel. "We've chosen Bay Cliff in the last two years to help support. We've taken a tour there, and we just really like their camp and what they do."
The items for sale were provided by members of the MOMS Club of Marquette.
This is the second year that they've held the rummage sale.
