IRON MOUNTAIN -- A single vehicle crash Sunday morning in Iron Mountain on Lehman Avenue resulted in the injury of two people, leaving one person still in critical condition.

A vehicle driven by a 19-year-old male of Iron Mountain left the roadway and struck a tree.

Both the driver and passenger, a 20-year-old male from Quinnesec, had to be extricated from the vehicle and transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment.  The driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.  The passenger was transferred to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and is listed in critical condition.

The Iron Mountain City Police were assisted at the scene by the Kingsford Public Safety, Breitung Township, Iron Mountain Fire Departments, along with the Michigan State Police and Bacon Ambulance.

No names are being released as the accident investigation continues.  Speed was a factor in the crash.
