This was the 22nd year for the classic car show at the Iron Industry Museum
NEGAUNEE -- Classic car owners from across the Upper Peninsula joined together Sunday at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee for the annual Antique Automobile Exhibit.
Fifty-six cars from 1909 to 1969 were spread around the grounds of the museum for people to look at and enjoy.
Live music provided by The Bluffs made the dreary afternoon feel a little bit more cheerful for those in attendance.
"We're part of the antique car club up in this area, and it's just been enjoyable," says Donald Kristola of Skandia. "I had cars for many years and started out with a Model A, and I still have that and I'm restoring that one right now. This has always been an enjoyable show; we've been here many years and look forward to it every year."
This was the 22nd year for the automobile exhibit.
The next big event for the museum will be July 16 and 17 when a Michigan historian will share the "Lore of Book Collecting."
