The American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life in Marquette County this weekend was very successful
ISHPEMING -- The annual event was so successful, in fact, organizers are saying this could be the most money ever raised.
The 16th annual event drew 30 teams with about 300 participants; 110 of those were cancer survivors.
More than $90,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society and cancer research.
Dickinson County also hosted its Relay for Life this weekend. The numbers on that event still aren't in yet.
Plans are already underway for next year's Relay.
