FORSYTH TOWNSHIP -- They say one man's trash is another's treasure, and this weekend, Gwinn and Sawyer residents will hold their annual town wide rummage sale.
The rummage sale will be held this Saturday, June 4, and will feature a variety of items such as antiques, furniture and even houses.
So far 48 residents are participating in the sale which, in recent years, has included up to 90.
Organizers say in addition to patrons finding deals, the sellers also benefit from the sale.
"The average home sells about anywhere from $200 to $500 in merchandise that was just in their basement, so their junk is someone else's treasure," said Jeanette Maki of the Gwinn-Sawyer Chamber of Commerce.
You can pick up a finalized list and map of the sellers on Saturday morning in Peter Nordeen Park. The maps will be handed out by the Merry Mixers who will also be selling coffee and donuts as part of their own fund-raiser.
