Names released in Manistique arrest

MANISTIQUE -- The two individuals arrested for allegedly stealing from the Manistique Senior Center have been identified as Melvin Anthony Larson, 22, and Cheryl Ann Boomgard, 19, of Manistique.

The Schoolcraft County Prosecutors office has issued charges of burglary, safe breaking and larceny.  Larson and Boomgard were arraigned in District Court at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Larson is charged on nine counts total, including three counts of breaking and entering, three counts of larceny in a building, two counts of safe breaking and one count of receiving and concealing stolen property.

Boomgard is being charged with one count of receiving and concealing stolen property.

Larson's bond was set at $50,000 and Boomgard's was set at $3,000.
