HOUGHTON -- The Storyline Project started with students more than a year ago, but now everyone is invited to share a part of their personal history.
Mary Wright has already worked with 21 schools in seven counties to create panels for the project. Now she's encouraging adults, even people without any Finnish or U.P. connections, to participate.
The purpose is to tell the story of an ancestor who showed courage in the face of adversity.
"Every human being is the hero of their own story," said Wright. "We all are challenged by one thing or another in life, and the way we meet that challenge can form us into being a richer person."
All of the panels will be strung and displayed in the Rozsa Center for this summer's premiere of the Rockland Opera.
Anyone interested should email Wright with their ancestor's story and picture by June 15.
